Startup mentality is a prerogative of innovation. Learning is the right path. In Neomobile we nurture the intrapreneurial culture through our “Lean Startup Experience” events – discover more about our culture of innovation
“’Intrapreneurs’ are dreamers who do. Those who take hands-on responsibility for creating innovation of any kind, within a business”.
Gifford Pinchot III, American entrepreneur, author and co-founder of the Pinchot University
Digital companies today are all united in one single challenge: forestall the market needs and understand the dynamical tech context of the modern digital industry. And in order to do so the only solution is to innovate. There are numerous paths companies take in order to create the startup mentality and work environment that allows seamless development and flow of ideas and projects. One of them is forming intrapreneurs.
Neomobile, as an international digital company, organizes 2 times a year an internal event called Learning week: this event features numerous trainings and workshops, including presentations by successful startups and companies, such as Moovenda, Karaoke One, 3rdplace and quo-d. The week finished with the Lean Startup Experience – a unique internal event that gathers colleagues from all over the globe in a weekend of innovation, creativity and teamwork. The event is held in our Roman HQ, and it is based on the Lean Startup Machine model that teaches how to build a successful business in three days.
During the intensive three days, innovators learn how to build disruptive products by working in a team to develop a new idea, through problem hypothesis, solution hypothesis and a series of assumptions, which are core to the success of the business.
In Neomobile, we organized the second edition of the Lean Startup Experience event (June 17-19) where 30 colleagues worked in in 5 teams on innovative digital product ideas. The teams were supported by our coaches Umberto Canessa and Bartolomeo De Vitis from Lean Startup Machine Italy and Paolo Sammicheli our Agile coach. The teams worked on creating their MVP – Minimum Viable Product and testing it with “Get Out Of the Building” face-to-face interviews with real customers that allows instant verification of the real market needs. This process promotes a problem-centric approach to business ideation. By continuously validating and invalidating assumptions, teams are forced to pivot their solution toward a true customer pain.
When it comes to the ideas, Neomobilers have shown their creative and innovative side, but also the willingness to learn, improve and collaborate. They all agree that this unconventional experience is a mind-opening event that teaches how to be lean, how to stay focused and committed, and how to fail fast and succeed faster – a precious lesson to be deepened in our daily work and all our future projects.

Last weekend was really hard, but was also a great moment to transform my personal idea in a possible business for the future. And that was possible thanks to my company @neomobile_group but above all my #dreamteam that creates an amazing environment to work and have fun ❤️ #Neomobile #neoleanstartup #leanstartup #lean
